CRU signs contract with Nolan Business Solutions for Microsoft Dynamics GP support
Nolan Business Solutions to provide CRU with accounting software support and consultancy services.
Nolan Business Solutions is working with CRU, the leading authority for the world of metals and mining, power and cables and fertilizers, to provide support and consultancy services for its Microsoft Dynamics GP accounting software.
The contract was originally signed with Benteq prior to its merger with Nolan Computers last year which led to the creation of Nolan Business Solutions. Benteq was chosen because of its in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics GP product, the technical skills of its consultants and its reputation for excellent customer service within the industry. Geoff Barber, Financial Director at CRU explains, “We were unhappy with the level of service we were receiving from our previous Microsoft Dynamics GP supplier so we decided to review the market and move to another partner. When we met with Benteq we were hugely impressed with their understanding of Microsoft Dynamics and their ability to identify what improvements could be made to our existing financial processes. After meeting Benteq’s consultants and discussing our requirements in detail we were convinced that they were the ideal Microsoft partner and would provide us with the most comprehensive level of service moving forward. Now that Benteq has become Nolan Business Solutions this further strengthens the depth of technical resource and integration skills available to us.” Barber continues, “Nolan are very good at supporting their customers and they are proactive – for example, they run regular webinars for customers to demonstrate the latest modules or new functionality that is available. Nolan has developed a really strong understanding of our business needs and they always keep us informed of new products and services that may be of interest to us, focusing specifically on those features that would really benefit our organisation. We feel very confident with Nolan as our Microsoft partner and we are looking forward to working closely with them to maximise our investment in Microsoft Dynamics GP.” Working alongside Nolan, CRU’s future IT plans include an upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 next year. Barber continues, “We are planning on upgrading to Microsoft GP 2010 this year which we believe will deliver efficiencies for our accounting processes and cost for the company as a whole through its faster and more comprehensive reporting facilities.. Mike Risley, Commercial Director of Nolan Business Solutions, says, “The Nolan company ethos has always been to provide our customers with first class service and support in order to help them achieve tangible business benefits from their accounting systems. We also have a very strong technical pedigree which means that we can provide our customers with systems that are highly configurable, easy to integrate and user-friendly, all at a very low cost of ownership.”
