SuiteWorld 2017 - The top 5 things from this year's event!
Networking
Everyone loves to reconnect with their partners, clients, favourite NetSuite staff or to meet folks for the first time and SuiteWorld is the perfect venue for this. The technical round tables were a great hit with our programmer for deep discussions on coding and he felt they were on topic and very relevant. The user group lunch by region had discussions centred around the certification process and the difficulty of the testing. Making better saved searches and reports was debated and there was a lively discussion on internal training versus on-line training.
Pre-event Training
I took the NetSuite Administrator course and the learning opportunity was phenomenal. It was at a high level and the pace was perfect. There was a lot of great content. I passed my NetSuite Certified Administrator Exam at the end of the course and that was a great finale to 2 days of training. If you want to get certified, I would highly recommend one of the prep classes offered as part of the pre-event training.
Great Party
The Wednesday night celebration was a blast and the April Las Vegas weather made for a perfect evening out. The moon was out and it was one great song after another with a gret outdoor pool venue and free beer. The perfect place to let your hair loose and bond as a team. The Royal Machines played and rocked the house.
The Event and NetSuite/Oracle Staff
The Oracle staff team did a great job of reaching out to attendees and sponsors to introduce themselves and have a chat. We really appreciated the effort each of you made.
The show was very well organised and the event staff working the venue were energetic and friendly. We always had great signage and directions and a friendly good morning. Thank you for yet another worthwhile event.
The Venue
This was one of the best show layouts I have ever seen. It was easy to get to sessions or to navigate the expo floor. Everything was nearby and easily accessed. The facilities had lots of premium restaurants to dine in. The 2 hotels that flanked the Sands Conference centre were of exceptional quality and there were rave reviews about their spa, rooms with 3 TV's, and workout facilities.
Great job #NetSuite17 and we look forward to next year!
