Bundle Update Guide
please first update any bundle in sandbox if possible, this is to ensure any potential issues that could be caused by a bundle update do not effect live.
Before reading this guide please keep in mind that you need to have the administrator role to be able to update a NetSuite bundle.
Updating Bundles
Navigate to customization -> Suite bundler-> Search & install bundles-> List
Following the navigation above should display a list of bundles within your account. Bundles fall under two types managed and non-managed. Managed bundles are automatically updated by the provider. The second type is non-managed bundles these require the user to update the bundle manually. You will know if a bundle needs an update by the Blue ! stamp next to the version number.
Selecting the green icon as shown in the screenshot below should provide you two options update and uninstall.
Once you select the update button a preview screen will appear. If your bundle is five or less versions old select the update button. This will then tirgger an update. If your bundle has not been updated in over six months, please fist update this in sandbox if possible as there could be some setting changes that can cause issues if not updated in a long time.
