The Electronic Payments bundle includes a custom centre tab “Electronic Payments” that contains links to all EP custom records and suitelets (custom pages) and applies to the Classic centre only. Navigate to Setup > Customisation > Centre Tabs and click on the Electronic Payments link to view the setup of this custom tab. To make this centre tab visible to your custom roles, there are two options:
- Navigate to Home > Set Preferences > Appearance tab and check “Use Classic Interface” to see the tabs in NetSuite laid out the same way as the Administrator role. If all users enable this option, they all see tabs appropriate for their role, and can navigate the application similar to the administration.
Create an additional custom Centre tab for the Accounting centre (or other centre) and include appropriate links for the roles to the EP custom records and pages. For example, you might want to omit the setup links and have these only apply to the administrator role.
For both options, you will need to ensure that the custom roles have an appropriate permission levels to EP custom record entries and NC Background Processing custom records. You can either set the permission within the custom record themselves or add the Custom Record Entries permission to a role. Tip: If you set the permission level within the custom record, ensure that the Use Permissions checkbox is checked on the record type.
